Avocado Banana Pudding

This is such a simple, versatile recipe. I have fed it to my twins regularly since they were 6 months old, in various forms. It is quite simply 1 ripe banana to 1 ripe avocado per person.

Then blend, food process or mash together. You could vary it in the following ways, there are surely others, but these are ones I have tried:

  • I add a mixed green powder, but spirulina is also good.  I make it for breakfast every weekend or school (summer) holiday morning.*
  • Add, carob (or cacao) to make a chocolate pudding.  (Freeze bananas the evening before or earlier, to make an ice cream pudding).
  • Add organic vanilla essence.
